Love Me Tenders/Cubs T-Shirts

Okay, first things first. We sincerely want to thank everyone who’s reached out to us with blog comments or by email regarding our Love Me Tenders/Cubs T-shirt promo. We’re truly blown away by the overwhelming response to yesterday’s MLB.COM story.

In response to the incredible reaction from Cubs players and Cubs fans (across the nation), we set out to find a way to get as many of you a t-shirt of your own (and maybe to try our delicious Love Me Tenders along the way). To make this possible, we’ve entered into an agreement with Major League Baseball that allows us to run this promotion in the Chicagoland area.  We are NOT currently legally allowed to sell the shirts.  We’re also not allowed to run the promotion outside of this area.  BUT we are seeking guidance as to how we might be able to do so.

In short… there’s still a glimmer of hope for you out-of-towners! If it were up to us, you’d all be rockin’ a comfy new LMT shirt to show the Cubs some real post-season Love, so we’re working very hard right now to figure out a legitimate way to get T-shirts out to all you Cubs faithful. NO guarantees, but we’re doing our best … stay tuned to our blog for updates …

And, of course, Go Cubs!

  31. Sammy says:

I realize your goal is to sell chicken, but making the shirts available to people who live outside your target market is a smart idea. Cubs fans live and travel all over the country, so we are a mobile market.

    Peace,
    Sam

  66. Jared says:

OK, here is the scoop. I am a grad student in Davenport, Iowa, and have just driven across the river to Illinois and found Love Me Tenders at my very first grocery stop. The total cost for 4 bags of the things (which weren’t as bad as I thought they were going to be, if you can get over the 300+ calories per rec. serving) was around $40.00. I know that there are many eager Cubs fans out there that are just itching to get their hands on one of these shirts. I will either be putting one online via ebay, or accepting offers via email, or heck, maybe both. If anyone is interested please let me know, and maybe we can work something out. My email is jliles_lw@hotmail.com Well, back to the game. Go Cubs!

  67. Bruce Kreamelmeyer says:

Big Cub fan here in Savannah, GA, and NO Love Me Tenders! I sure hope I can either get some chicken (not likely, I guess), or one of those cool T-shirts. I’m a die-hard Cub fan for over 50 years… please help an old guy out!!!

  68. Please, let us Cubs fans know if the T-Shirts will available somehow to us “out-of-towners.” Much like everyone else, I’d love to have one of these bad boys. The slogan is catchy!

  69. Sam says:

I’ll send money in for four boxes or LMT. You send a shirt and the chicken to Oklahoma. Does that sound like a plan?

  70. How can we get one of these shirts down here in South Florida? I need one to add to my Cubs shirt collection. Right next to my Division Champs 2008 shirt! 🙂 GO CUBS GO

  71. Micah Robinson says:

I am dying to get the shirt!
The Cubs play tonight and I’m losing my mind here.

    What cna we do?
    I will pay $200!

  72. Ok. So the Cubies are out of it…..I still want my shirt. Just put it on the website already.

  73. Diana says:

Have you checked Ebay? I think I saw some on there.

  74. Marc says:

Anybody still want a shirt? I live in Indiana and can arrange for you to get one via the t-shirt form and a fee. Just let me know.

  75. Pablo says:

Marc, I would be interested. How do we get in touch?

  76. Roger says:
